Our Superintendent recently posted his thoughts regarding the FCAT.

Dear Students:
Next week you will be taking a test known as the FCAT, the Florida
Comprehensive Assessment Test. It is important for your teachers, your
parents, you and me to know how much you have learned and how well your
school is doing in helping you get the knowledge and skills you will
need.
So I ask you to get a good night's sleep, to eat a healthy breakfast,
and to do your very best on the test.
I also want you to know that your parents, your teachers and I will
never define you by a test score. We know that you are capable,
talented and full of great promise. The FCAT will not tell you or us
how far you will go, only where you have been so far. However you do on
this test, we still will love you, care for you deeply, and try even
harder to teach you well.
Good luck.
Sincerely,
Rudolph F. Crew Ed.D.
