The Language Arts Department encompasses all aspects of reading, writing and critical thinking of both literacy and informational text. Our goal as a department is to integrate the understanding of real world issues and human nature through text analysis and active interaction in class. This goal is accomplished through District supported strategies, cooperative learning, and a sincere interest on behalf of our department to meet the learning needs of each student.
